Client-side validation
The WA Client Validations Wizard simplifies the process of applying client-side form validation using this toolkit. In three steps, it configures and applies selected validation behaviors and the Show Validation Errors behavior to a specified form on your page. As well, existing form validation behaviors on the page that are applied to the onSubmit event of a selected form are inspected and can be edited using the wizard.
Server-side validation
The WA Server Validations server behavior performs validation against the value of server variables as they are submitted to the server. The server behavior can be configured to perform validations when the page is loaded, a form is submitted to the page, any form on the page is submitted, or a submit button for a specific form is clicked.

Validation Response behaviors
Validation Toolkit ships with five client-side behaviors that provide feedback to the user entering data into a web form. These features include methods for displaying error messages, running conditional scripts, performing a validation dependent on the results of a prior validation, and enabling or disabling form elements.
Enable/Disable Form Elements
The Enable/Disable Form Elements behavior enables or disables a form element if a selected form element passes validation. Use this feature to enable a form field if a checkbox is selected.
